So, I just got through a week of having shingles. For those who don't know what they are, its from the same virus that causes chicken pox. So I had over 30 little bumps on my abdomen. They were sortof itchy but when you scratch them they hurt, so that sucked. But I'm mostly better now so thats good.

Tonight is scrapbooking so hopefully that'll be fun. Thats all for now.

Nothing much going on with me. Just hanging out. Me and Nick put up our pool the other day but it's still to cold to go in it. Nick's mom bought me a tanning package so thats really cool!

I got my final transcripts in the mail yesterday and I got an A in senior design for both semesters which is cool. I also got a grade for the class that I was supposed to retake the final, but never did. So thats cool too!! Now I can't wait to get my diploma.

Other than that, really, not much is going on.

A Suit

So, I got my first whole suit this past week. It's a little boring and conservative, but I don't want to be giving old men a heart attack when I go for interviews. But it's pretty cool though. One step in the direction of the corporate world.

Grey's Anatomy season finale was on. Kindof crazy. If Derrik is married then how is Meredith supposed to go home with him??? She should pick Finn. But I guess we'll find that out after the summer is over. It's sad to imagine a whole summer without GA & DH. :( As for Denny, I'm really sad he died. He was so cute and Izzy was cute with him. And it's sad that Izzy is leaving. :( I guess we'll have to see if the season finale of DH is any better.

Oh yeah!! and Nick got me a DS for graduation!!!

I did absolutely nothing this last week, and it was great - and relaxing.
I saw the Benchwarmers, and though stupid as it was, it was absolutely hilarious!!! I went bowling, hung out with my family, played some Texas Hold'em - and won like always.

Cinco de Mayo was awesome, had a great time. Nothing is better than hanging out with the 6 best people ever!!

So, this is the end. I've been in school forever, and am not sure what it feels like to not be in school. But since I don't have a job yet, I certainly do have a lot of free time.

EOW was pretty cool, I couldn't get drunk though since I had commencements in the morning. That was so incredibly boring, I actually almost fell asleep.

Bowling was really fun with my whole family. We're so big we take up 4 lanes. But it was great, and I bowled a 157 and 140.

I got a picture printer for graduation from my mom. She's taking me shopping today to pick it out. I can't wait to get it and print out pictures (my sister bought me photo paper!!) I'm sooo excited about that.

Nothing else going on. Just can't believe I'm finally done. It's all very surreal.

I still have 2 more finals, and one is for a class I've already taken. And the reason I failed it the first time is because of the final. How am I supposed to study a program that no one has taught me?? For the next 3 days I will be going crazy. Hope I'm in a good mood for the festivities on Sunday...

Finals are driving me crazy. I'm just glad our senior design project and report are finished!!

I had a really bad time at formal, better luck next year I guess.

Othe than that, things aren't going very well. I'll be glad when this week is completely done. Sunday should be fun though, going bowling after graduation with my whole family. And then I think my parents are taking everyone out to eat. That should be good.

Nick got a bowling ball yesterday and he's really excited. We went bowling and over the 4 games we played, my score only varied by 3 points. I scored a 135, 134, 132, & 135. On the tenth frame of the last game I got a turkey (saucepan) and I was really excited about that.

Right now I'm just trying to get my senior design powerpoint presentation ready for our final presentation on Friday. So far, so good. But I feel like I'm going crazy. And that doesn't count all the work on the final report due next week. I'm just sooooo glad I have an extra week for that part.

We had our "practice presentation" today and, as usual, I talked too fast and it was too short. But thats ok, thats what the "practice" is for, right?

Anyways, crazy times. Can't wait for school to be done. But thinking about it, its really really crazy that I won't be going to school anymore. It kindof makes me sad. I just never actually thought I'd be done with school. I knew it would happen one day, but I literally never gave it any thought.

Oh well, out for now.

Mock rock was awesome - but it sucked bigtime. That's all I'll say about that.

Greek week is a literal waste of frickin time. So it's all about bringing the orgs closer and all that crap - right. All it does is make people hate each other, if you already didn't have a reason to hate them in the first place. And I played walleyball on Friday, which with only 3 people we really did awesome. And I pulled like every muscle in my legs and butt, so I was super sore for several days. Getting better now though. And the bruises on my arms seem to be getting better too.

Greek Week party on Saturday was ok. It was the worst turnout for our girls that I think I've ever seen. There were only three of us there (including me). But the three of us still had a good time.

I'm working on senior design right now, and its really crappy. I'm not doing a very good job. It could be because I didn't get any sleep last night cuz my tooth hurt really bad and medicine just stopped working. Hopefully this night will prove much better. Keeping fingers crossed.

Basically, not much keeping me happy right now.

Oh yeah, workout later so I'll be sore again tomorrow.

I finally got my formal dress!! It's great. Its teal and its a halter top and full of glitter and it looks really good on me. And I only spent $45 on it (well, actually Nick only spent $45 on it). And I got a bathing suit for the summer, so I'm excited for it to get hot.

And I showed my mom this ebay auction for a pink pea coat that we both thought was really cool and she asked me if I was going to bid on it and then told me maybe I shouldn't. So I didn't. (mom's not very sneaky...) and when the auction was up I cheated and looked to see if she won it, but she didn't. So I was a little sad.

So on Thursday my mom told me she had a present for me... So I went over there on Saturday and guess what my present was... It was the pink pea coat. Turns out the same seller had another (and she got it for cheaper than the first one). GO ME with my new coat!! Now I finally have a nice coat for church.

And on Wednesday after going to Vista Maria (which was really easy and fast) I went to TJMaxx to look for a winter coat (cuz I thought my mom lost the auction). And they didn't have any coats at all, but since I was there and I had nothing else to do that night, I figured I'd just try on some clothes for fun.

Well, turns out the first thing I tried on I really liked and it was only $5. So I just couldn't turn that down. And the next thing I tried on I really like too, and I figured that since I was already buying something, I should just go ahead and get that second thing. Then I tried on a black velvet blazer, and all hell broke loose. I just couldn't bear to leave without buying it! So I ended up buying 3 things when I just wanted to look for a winter coat. But at least I didn't get the other 3 things that I liked. So when I got home, Nick was a little mad that I spent his money (yeah, it was his money). But my new clothes are cool!!

Turns out I have a problem...I'm addicted to shopping. :) I mean :(

Tragic Haircut

My weekend was pretty blah. Friday night was cool cuz I went bowling with Nick, Val, Harry, Mom, Dad, and Noah, but I didn't do well at all so that wasn't cool. Saturday all I did was clean and laundry, how fun. And then Sunday was church and mom's house, which wasn't the most exciting visit I've had over there. However, my mom is taking me shopping on Thursday for some new dress clothes. (As I was getting ready for church, I was going to wear my black dress pants. But since I couldn't wear my black shoes cuz my foot hurt, I had to find something else. That is when I realized I have no dress clothes...)

My haircut...
On Friday I (excitedly) went to get my haircut. I haven't gotten one since last April. So I brought the picture of what I wanted and I showed her and told her that I wanted to be able to put it in a ponytail, and I wanted to be able to put it behind my ears, and I didn't want that stupid layer at the bottom. And then the cutting started. My hair is curly when wet so I really couldn't tell what was going on. And when she styled it it looked great!

However, when I washed it on Sunday my head was a fro. I didn't know what to do with it. So I was miserable all Sunday with a stupid haircut. So when I got home I straightened it to see exactly what I had. Turns out I have that stupid layer at the bottom, I can't pull it behind my ears, and I can't put it in a ponytail. Also, there's this really stupid layer thats really big on one side, its retarded. I hate my hair right now!! I can't do anything with it. And I'm not going to spend an hour every morning styling it. Stupid retarded lady. My mom won't be happy but next time I get my hair cut I'm not going back to that place.

Bowling ball tragedies :(

So, the bowling ball saga continues...

Nick finally went and picked up my ball yesterday while I was at work. So I was really excited - right? Well, when I got home I took it out and looked at it and the finger holes are all nice and closer together now. But I look for my name, and not only is it in the wrong place, but its offcenter, lopsided, and the letters are aligned. So we have to go back in and make them fix it so it doesn't suck. I was so dissappointed, and I was going to go bowling tonight. :( So sad.

On a more happier note, I did play broomball last night for the first time since having surgery on my foot and it was loads of fun. Can't wait to play again. And Nick came and watched, and Terrin came and took pictures. Can't wait to see them.

I know all I've talked about lately is bowling, but it's my new thing and (personally) I think it's way better than WOW!!!

Anyways, I went bowling with my family at a place in Southgate and it was the worst bowling alley I have ever been to. I am very good at bowling the ball completely straight. So I was trying to get the back left pin to pick up the spare. So I bowled it perfectly straight right next to the left gutter. Well, it was going straight and straight and straight and then at the last second it curved into the middle of the lane and completely missed the pin. WHAT?? That was so crazy I knew the lanes had to suck really bad.

So I'm never going there again.

Party on Friday was awesome!! I played SMONG and it was really cool. Got to show off my blacklight tattoo, even if it was only a minute. Nothing else going on.

So I went bowling for the first time with my new bowling ball last Friday. Well, turns out that it cracked on the thumb hole the first time I bowled with it. So I had to go and exchange it for a new ball. Well, it turns out that no one has the six pound pink ball, I got the last one. So we looked for the same color with a different weight but the lightest they had was a 14 pound ball and my little arms can't handle that. So we had to go around to different stores until we found one.

The manager at the place we bought it had called around to different stores and told us one store that had it. But when we went there the employees had no idea what we were talking about. So we looked amoungst the balls to find that there were no pink balls. So we went and talked to that manager and he said if they have it then its with the other balls.

So Nick called the original store's manager again, and he said that the store put it on hold for us. So when we went up to the register they said they had the ball up there. Stupid morons didn't bother to tell us that they had the ball the whole time and we're looking through the other balls like 3 times. They were so stupid!!

So I have to get my measurements taken again, cuz the paper that had them from the other store aparently wasn't good enough. So I don't get my bowling ball until next week. And that makes Jenn sad :(
